Motion Design

One shared skill for Codex and Claude Code that turns a product or idea into a complete motion film — ten styles, a local playable gallery, generation via your Higgsfield account.

Skills & Commandsskillmotionvideohiggsfieldmarketing

Motion Design adapts a product, website or idea into a finished motion film: pick a look from ten styles — glass UI launch, tropical product, kinetic typography, blueprint to building, exploded product, flat vector explainer, hyper-motion, hybrid 2D+3D, editorial collage, footage + graphics — then adapt the source prompt and generate. The skill ships a local playable gallery (open it in a browser; GitHub only shows source) where you inspect each style's original prompt and copy a tailored request; the page never sends your brief or starts a generation. Browsing and prompt drafting work offline; media generation connects to your own Higgsfield account with model access and credits, following the setup guide's MCP command and read-only access check. Source examples are Higgsfield material the skill adapts, with attribution kept in ATTRIBUTION.md — not new results generated by this package.

What it does

  • Ten styles enumerated in the gallery — glass UI launch, tropical product, kinetic typography, blueprint to building, exploded product, flat vector explainer, hyper-motion, hybrid 2D+3D, editorial collage, footage + graphics
  • One skill folder installs into both Codex and Claude Code, so the same look and prompt craft follows you across harnesses
  • Local playable gallery: browse all ten styles, inspect original prompts, copy a tailored request — the page sends nothing and generates nothing
  • Prompt drafting and browsing work before you connect; generation goes through your own Higgsfield account with the setup guide's MCP command and read-only access check

When to use it

Product launch videos, landing-page hero motion and social teasers where you want agency over the prompt — draft and compare looks locally, then spend generation credits on the winner.

Getting started

git clone https://github.com/cth9191/motion-design.git
# copy the whole skill folder (references and gallery included):
cp -r motion-design/skills/motion-design ~/.claude/skills/motion-design
# then connect Higgsfield per docs/setup.md (MCP command, auth, read-only check)

Things to know

Generation requires a Higgsfield account with model access and credits — the skill itself only drafts and adapts prompts. Gallery examples are adapted Higgsfield source material (see ATTRIBUTION.md), not this package's own renders; keep source prompts immutable when customizing. No license file at the time of writing.
