What it does
- Official Rust MCP SDK (RMCP) built on the tokio async runtime
- Procedural macros generate tool implementations — a dedicated rmcp-macros crate ships #[tool], #[tool_router] and #[tool_handler] to handle all the wiring
- Tools-only servers can use #[tool_router(server_handler)] and skip the separate ServerHandler impl
- Covers long-running tool invocations (Tasks) and stateless Streamable HTTP alongside stdio
