Browser Use

Browser-Use lets LLMs drive a real browser — navigate, click, fill forms, extract data.

Plugins & Agentsbrowser-automationagentscrapingheadless

Browser Use gives LLM agents the ability to operate a real headless browser. The agent can navigate URLs, click elements, fill forms, and extract structured data — useful for scraping, QA, and any task that needs a real browser rather than an API.

What it does

  • Python library that lets an AI agent drive a real browser — click, type, navigate, extract
  • uv add browser-use (Python >=3.11); configure a model API key in .env
  • browser-use skill install registers it as a skill for coding agents
  • Can connect to your own browser session rather than a fresh sandboxed one

When to use it

For agents that need the open web: filling forms, scraping JS-heavy pages, testing web flows end-to-end — anything where an API doesn't exist.

Getting started

uv add browser-use

Add your model API key to .env, then run an Agent with a task string. To expose it to coding agents: browser-use skill install.

Things to know

Browser automation is inherently flaky — sites change, CAPTCHAs block, and runs cost tokens per step.
