Getting started

Gradle:

implementation("com.anthropic:anthropic-java:2.64.0")

Maven: same coordinates as a <dependency>. Check Maven Central for the latest version.

Things to know

Version bumps are frequent — pin and check the changelog on upgrades. Not to be confused with the official MCP Java SDK (io.modelcontextprotocol.sdk:mcp), which is for building MCP servers/clients.
